The patch is for the PC version of the game. That is, it is an update for the pc game, ie, fifa on computer.

You can update fifa 14 to fifa 17. Note though that not everything will be as is in the official fifa 17 game.
It's an update to the kits, squads and theme.

I had FIFA 14 and was working fine. But when I tried to add the patch of FIFA 17, however after the update my FIFA is not starting itself.
Tried to put earlier files(FIFA 14) but still the game is not starting.
Kindly suggest what to do now?

Bear in mind that for the fifa 17 patch to work, you need to have installed the fifa 16 patch prior to installing the fifa 17 patch. The fifa 16 patch is provided for download on this thread : https://forum.technologysage.com/thread-42.html
